Identification requirements for all Notarizations

When completing a Certificate of Acknowledgment or Jurat, a Notary Public is required to certify to the identity of the signer of the document.


Current or document issued within 5 years:

1. An Identification card or driver's license issued by the California Dept. of Motor Vehicles,

2. A United States Passport,

3. A valid consular identification document issued a by consulate from the applicant's country of citizenship, a driver's license issued by another State or by a Canadian or Mexican public agency authorized to issue driver's license, an identification card issued by anther State, a US military identification card, an employee identification card issued by an agency or office of the State of CA, or an agency or office of a City, County in California, an identification card issued by a federally recognized tribal government, provided that it contains a photograph, description of the person, signature of the person and an identification number.

The identity of the signer can be established by the oath of a single credible witness if the witness is personally known to the Notary or two credible witnesses if the witnesses are not personally known to the Notary.

Charges for Services

For Notarizations - $ 15.00 per Signature


Travelling Charges - $ 30.00 - up to 5 mile distance & $ 6.00 per additional mile.

Waiting time beyond 30 minutes allocated time for notarizations - $ 15.00 per every 15 minute increments.

 Document printing charges based on size and type of document - estimate upon review.

 Other miscellaneous charges - estimate upon request
